Description
Xtar 14500 akku on korkean suorituskyvyn li-ion akkukenno, joka on tarkoitettu AA paristoja käyttäviin tehokkaisiin taskulamppuihin. Akku on varustettu sisäänrakennetulla suojapiirillä, joka estää liian korkean lataamisen, akun syväpurkautumisen sekä oikosulut.
Varustettu kohotetulla plus-navalla, eli niin sanottu nappipäinen akku saa kontaktin paremmin valaisimeen.
Sopii myös muihin 14500 / AA kokoisia akkuja/paristoja käyttäviin laitteisiin, kuten koiratutkat, radiopuhelimet, otsalamput jne. Korkea purkuvirta ja suuri kapasiteetti tekevät tästä akusta täydellisen valinnan tehokkaisiin taskulamppuihin.

Väärä käsittely, ylilataaminen tai oikosulkeminen voi johtaa akun ylikuumenemiseen ja tulipaloon. Suojapiirillä varustetut akut on suojattu oikosulkujen lisäksi myös liian korkealta jännitteeltä sekä syväpurkamiselta.
Litiumakuista:
Litiumakut ovat akkukemialtaan vakaita, eikä niissä ole muisti-ilmiötä. Akkukennoja voi siis ladata milloin tahansa. Käyttöiän kannalta paras on pitää akut noin 70% varauksessa, eikä antaa purkautua liian tyhjiksi.
