AA Rechargeable Batteries

A standard AA rechargeable battery is recharged 300-500 times. The best recharging is eneloop batteries, 2100 times. In the middle of this, GP Batteries's rechargeable AA batteries with a very high capacity of 2700mAh are still available for re-download by manufacturer 1000 times.

Rechargeable batteries are NiMH batteries. In practice, the aa battery's highest capacity NiMH battery chemistry is 2700mAh, this capacity Panasonic reached already 10 years ago with its legendary 2700mAh AA battery, but now also GP Batteries now has a 2700mAh rechargeable AA battery.

The problem with NiMH batteries was high self-discharge, but this problem was initially solved by Sanyo's development of Eneloop batteries. In the current, fourth generation Eneloop battery, there are still 75% charge after 5 years of storage.
